Welcome to the official website of West Haddon Junior Football club. WHJFC is a thriving junior football club that had an exceptional 20007/08 season both on and off the pitch. We pride ourselves on being a friendly club that puts the emphasis firmly on children enjoying playing the "Beautiful Game".

The site is aimed at players, coaches, team officials and parents alike. We hope that you enjoy your visit and we welcome feedback.

The Village

The picturesque Northamptonshire village of West Haddon is set in the Heart of England between the towns of Northampton and Rugby. With many local attractions including the Jurassic Way Long Distance Path, which actually passes through the village, West Haddon is a mature and thriving community.

The Football Club

West Haddon Junior Football Club has teams at the following age groups:
Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 9, Under 10, Under 11 and Under 12.

In addition to West Haddon itself we also draw players from the surrounding villages including Long Buckby, Ravensthorpe, Yelvertoft, Crick, Guilsborough, Daventry and even Northampton.

The club has held the highly acclaimed FA Charter Standard status since 2004.

July 08 - Help wanted
The Parish Council will be filling in the pot holes on the playing field road this weekend (19th July). They have asked for volunteers from the sports club for Saturday (weather permitting).  Anyone able to help should contact Leigh Hughes

May 08- Treble Success
Our Under 9s won a thrilling Knock Out Cup Final at a noisy Sixfields Stadium to finish a fantastic season in style. Their opponents Billing Utd pushed them all the way as the match went to extra time, with West Haddon scoring the only goal of the game in the first period of additional play. The victorious players can add the trophy to the pre-season Sports Aid tournament win and the John Henry A League Title. Well done boys, the club are proud of you!!
